Right in between the Christmas and New Years holiday I scored a flight deal cheaper than disneyland tickets from Tijuana to Cabo roundtrip. It was simply too good to pass up. We used the CBX from the California side to get to TJ airport in Mexico and it was super convenient. I should add, we do use travel points from various credit card companies to offset the cost of these trips but this isn’t a blog about that… In Cabo, we stayed at this super cute small boutique hotel with direct pool access and walking distance to Medano beach. The owners gave us a fair warning about their walls being on the thin side and crying children could be heard by other guests. Addie was 2.5 years old, in the prime of her terrible two stage. We were terrified! Luckily she wasn’t so bad, I swear we spent 75% of that trip swimming in the pool or beach so she was perfectly content. We took a water taxi to the arches and enjoyed low tide swimming at Lovers beach. We also spent some time driving out to Chileno beach which was much calmer with little fish swimming around to admire.

Logistics: We packed super light and only took a wearable carrier. It was amazing not having to lug around all that crap! The flight was also awesome, well it was also very short. On the way home Addie slept the entire flight!
